My verdict

Toner pads are the step people get wrong most, so pick the set for your problem and use it correctly: textured side down, spot treat, a couple of nights a week for the exfoliating ones. I use the pore pads on my forehead and the brightening pads on old marks, never both on the same night.

How I use it

  1. Pick two pads for your two main concerns.
  2. Exfoliating pads one to two nights a week, textured side on the skin, only where needed.
  3. Hydrating or brightening pads can be nightly.
  4. Fold pads in half so the jar lasts.

Who this is for

Anyone who wants to try Medicube pads without committing to one jar, combination skin with two different issues.

Who this is not for

Retinoid users and irritated barriers should skip the exfoliating pads. Do not stack two acid pads.

Questions I get about it

Which combo should I pick?

Pore plus brightening was mine. Pore plus a calming pad if your skin is reactive.

Can I use toner pads every day?

Hydrating ones yes. AHA or BHA pads no, one to two nights a week.

Which side goes on the skin?

The textured side. That is where the exfoliation happens.
